Applying for Certification

Step One

Visit Undergraduate Student Services (USS) to complete an "Application for Degree." (USS is located at 1-107 Education North.)  The form is also found at: http://www.uss.ualberta.ca/en/FormsProgramSheets/Forms.aspx.  Please refer to the application for application deadlines.

Step Two

Complete an "Alberta Teacher Certification Package" from Teacher Certification in Alberta and mail to Alberta Education, Teacher Development and Certification Branch.

Step Three

Complete a TQS (Teacher Qualification Services) "Salary Evaluation Application Form" and mail to Teacher Qualifications Service at the Alberta Teachers' Association (see application form for details).
